Sacred Spaces - Get Organized - Get Spiritual!

We are familiar with the well know proverb, Cleanliness is next to Godliness!  Indeed, we feel a certain amount of calm and fluidity when our spaces are organized and clean. However, despite our best intentions, our busy lives sometimes leave our spaces feeling more chaotic than calming!

Creating a sacred space for yourself makes connecting with your Inner Light and the people in your life easier.  Happy, clean energy supports happy, clean relationships!

Treating every item you own as sacred may seem a little over the top in dealing with clutter.  However, I have found that by honoring each item I own, i.e. giving it a little home and returning it there when not in use, helps me to connect with my surroundings and everything in my space, including my family.

Here are a few tips for keeping you home a sanctuary:

1. Love EVERYTHING you own.  If you don’t love it, re-purpose, gift or recycle it.
2. Give every item you own a special place in your home.
3. Immediately and lovingly return it to it’s nest when you are finished using it.
4. Get everyone involved with honoring the home.  Put on music and clean together!
5. Create a family altar representing each member of the family and your spiritual beliefs.
6. Introduce the idea of ‘nesting’ each item they own.
7. Children love to find just the right spot for their toys!
8. Make sure you host special people in your home often…this helps motivate us to really clean!

If you feel completely overwhelmed, don’t stay stuck, hire a professional, (like me) to come and help you.  The most important thing is to feel like your home is a refuge and a retreat.  As we honor and treat each item in our home with respect, our home becomes our sanctuary!  Sacred Beings in Sacred Spaces!

Shine Your Light!!

Last night I had a wonderful meditation and communion with my Guides.  It was a lovely chat!  (ArchAngel Michael specifically.)  He was speaking to the fact that we each have a little niche -a specific thumbprint of individual expression.  It has to do with our light and following what most lights us up.

They were encouraging me to think of the world, not as a competitive place, but as a place to be true and shine.  If I am staying true to MySelf and shining my light, Abundance is mine to have and to share! There are fantastic, wonderful, yogi, dancer, mystics out there who each also have there signature gifts. But now one has my vibe and no one has yours.  It’s time to share our gifts and our LIGHT!!!

Then I get on tumblr this am and see Gary’s msg about linchpin’s.  Differnt language same msg repeated.  I love the consistensy of the Universe.  Blessings!

New to Blogging

I am reading CRUSH IT by Gary Venderchuck and I am stoked to get started blogging.  My intention is to blog about my life.  I am a Mystical Mommy, yogini, belly dancer kitchen witch and I want to share my passion for celebrating life with the world.

Life is sacred!  We are all sacred.  everything we say and do is…yes…sacred.  Changing my daughters poopy diaper is sacred!  When we bring our attention to the present moment, we are actively co-creating with the Universe in a very powerful way.
